Running projects involving PLAD activities
Since from the beginning of our activity with PLAD, different funding
sources (INFM, CNR, MIUR, and others) have been exploited.
Presently, we are involved in two research projects, dealing with
superconductive and shape-memory alloys applications:
- Progetto Applicazioni della Superconduttività (ad alta T),
funded by CNR (period 1999-2004). Main objective of our participation
is PLAD of superconductors onto flexible metal substrates (short length),
to be used
as basic components of coated conductors. Main prtners of the project
are:
Europa Metalli , Fornaci di Barga; TEMPE/CNR, Lecco;
IRTEC/CNR
, Faenza; ENEA div. supercond., Frascati; Edison
Termoelettrica, c/o MASPEC/CNR, Parma.
-
Progetto Finalizzato MSTA II , funded by CNR (
ended in 2002, with possible extensions).
Main objective of our participation is PLAD of
shape-memory alloys to be used as active elements in micro-electromechanical
systems (MEMS). Main partners of the project are: TEMPE/CNR, Lecco;
Arts-Lab Scuola Superiore Studi Univ. e Perfez. Sant'Anna, Pisa;
Dipartimento
di Fisica , Università di Perugia.
